March... As Seen On Getaway!

This month saw Chill Cook Create Retreats on Channel Nines’ Getaway Show with Kelly and her friends having a fantastic girls weekend on the beautiful Central Coast at Terrigal. Our Makeup Artist Mandi had a great time with them – lots of laughs and sharing of ideas, plus a dash of girl talk – just perfect! Visit Getaway and View The Video Clip.

September 2009

During September an article was published by Women’s Network Australia in their Spring Edition magazine; “Working Women” that was written by Zoe, the founder of Chill Cook Create Retreats.

The article is called “6 Steps to Greening Your Office” and takes a practical look at how we can reduce our carbon footprint” in business.

As a practicing consultant Zoe loves to bring emerging business and social themes into Chill Cook Create Retreats and challenge how we do what we do.

Continuous learning – absolutely!

October 2009

One northern business partner knows the importance of work/life balance!

She booked her colleague onto a flight heading south and sent him to Chill Cook Create Retreats for a well-deserved holiday break with a difference.

Our brief was to keep this colleague busy but chilled! (You guessed it – don’t ring the office!)

The outcome? According to his business partner, “.. he has not stopped raving about the fantastic time he had, the professionalism of the team and the providers, and the excellent food, organization and accommodation”.

The team had a fantastic time and our guest? The feedback is that; “The three days really exceeded his expectation which is a very tough ask. This is something that we could certainly repeat.”

We love great feedback – thanks!

November 2009

This month was busy from a public relations perspective. It was very exciting for us to be chosen by the Getaway Team as part of their “Girls Weekend Away” theme for an upcoming show; which features the Central Coast, NSW. Our Makeup Artist took to filming like a duck takes to water – thanks, Mandi!

Behind the scenes, we were busy creating “Handmade Chocolate Truffles” as a gift for each person attending the Business Chicks Lunch and Learn. This was held at the Sofitel Wentworth, Sydney for 450. We couldn’t resist the following caption for our marketing spiel: “The Truffles created by Chill Cook Create Retreats are pure wicked indulgence! They reflect the passion that we have for food and the fun we had in making them for you.”

At Chill Cook Create Retreats we had so much fun this month – thanks to both Getaway and Business Chicks! And, a special thanks to Lori – our Cooking Guru!
